For over 30 years, Viaguard, a technological leader, has provided confidential substance abuse testing to organizations and individuals at every level of sport.

Our services include broad spectrum precision analysis or testing for an individual substance. All of our reports submitted by Viaguard will have a pharmacological interpretation of what a positive result implies.

There are many options in drug testing programs but they generally fall into 2 categories long term precision testing whereby using a hair or nail clipping sample a determination is made as to the level of use of a broad range of substances over a 90-day period.

The substances normally tested for include the following primary categories as well as their metabolite products and any related substances that fall within similar chemical structure. These include:

• Marijuana
• Amphetamine/Methamphetamine
• Opiates (including Oxycotin and Synthetic Narcotics)
• Ecstasy
• Barbiturates
• Cocaine
• Benzodiazepine
• And others

Levels of ethyl alcohol consumption can also be determined for a 90-day period using hair or nail clippings.

These substances can also be tested, using a narrow 12-72 hour window based on an analysis of samples derived from urine, saliva, or blood.

All tests can be done for legal or informational purposes using split samples where indicated. Samples being collected from any geographical location using our remote chain of custody procedure ensure legal validity.

Every test done by Viaguard is completely confidential and the results are restricted to the party requesting the test. Viaguard test results are never incorporated into any public health type database where outside scrutiny of a person’s personal health records is possible.
