Instructions for Use and Test Interpretation
Nicotine (Tobacco) Usage Detection Kit
Collect a sample of urine in a clean dry container. The sample should be allowed to stand for 2 - 3 minutes, and cool slightly. Samples not used immediately can be refrigerated up to 48 hours, or frozen indefinitely, but the urine must be brought to room temperature before testing.
Open the foil pouch, and place the cassette on a flat surface. Using the enclosed dropper place three, or four drops of urine in the small well, on the surface of the cassette. The results can be read in about four to five minutes, and are invalid after ten minutes.
$18.00 for one or 5 kits for $59.
Interpretation of Results
The nicotine test is a definitive indicator of the use of nicotine containing products, but is not indicative of the quantity used other then that it is above a cut off level allowing for the environmental inhalation of second hand smoke.
